We had so much fun on our annual, Memorial-Day-weekend camping trip! We went to Elk Neck State Park in North East, MD (for our third visit) with our friends Dan, Erin and Ainsley Haas and their friends (and now our friends) Karin, Lynn, and Izzy (a beautiful and perfectly-behaved golden retriever pup).
Jeff and I were a little nervous about our first camping trip with two mobile children (one of whom has no fear, no speed other than "full," and no (or, at least, little) respect for the word "NO!"), but the kiddos were great!
The weather was absolutely perfect, and the company was even better. It was a nice, relaxing weekend of...
eating...
sleeping (in our new tent...yippie!)...
walking (and walking and walking)...
playing...
admiring (read: torturing) wildlife...
cheesing...
learning to use our new camera remote...
and hanging out with great people.
