School's out for summer...

The end of May marked the end of Avery's very first year of school. Avery absolutely loved her year in preschool. She had wonderful teachers and made great friends. She was so excited for her school days (Thursdays and Fridays) to roll around each week and often begged to go to school on other days. I recognized a lot of growth in my little girl throughout the year...mentally, socially, emotionally, and physically.

[It appears as though Avery didn't grow any taller--or even shrunk, maybe--between the two photos, but it is just the perspective from which the photo was taken (kneeling photographer vs. standing photographer)...but doesn't she look so much OLDER?!?!]

I'm so proud of my big girl! She has always been really good at adapting to new situations, and her introduction to school was no different. We are going to have a fun summer, but Avery's headed back to St. Faith Preschool (and Ms. Marilyn and Ms. Lori!) in the fall...3 days a week!
