"Brand New Day" by Tim Myers
...is our official "driving-to-school song" for the 2009-2010 school year. This is the song that we ROCK OUT to during our 2 minute drive to Avery and Noel's preschool. Avery put a lot of thought into this year's selection. She narrowed the list of possibilities down to Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" (a.k.a. "The Oh-oh-oh Song") and the winner. Ultimately, it came down to the fact that she liked the idea of listening to a song about a "brand new day" first thing each morning. Plus she knows more words to that song...
Last year's song was "King Kong Kitchie" by Dan Zanes. Is this year's pick an improvement? I'll let you know in March...
