FOUR. YEARS. OLD. Can you believe it?
My Laney Lou is officially too old...
This morning, our little birthday girl came downstairs to a small birthday celebration...complete with a princess balloon, pink gerbera daisies, and a Sleeping Beauty doll cake! She was so surprised and so happy...especially to be allowed to eat birthday cake for breakfast!
She even got to open a couple presents before Daddy had to leave for work. She got...
...a Fancy Nancy doll from Pop, Mimi, and Uncle William (which she absolutely LOVES!)...
...and a Skuut balance bike from Dadgie, so she can start practicing to learn to ride a big girl bike (which he also got for her...but she doesn't know about it, yet. Shhhhh! We want her to keep learning on her Skuut...)
A few days before Avery's birthday, I asked her what she wanted to do on her actual birthday (since it was a weekday [and Daddy had to work], and her party wasn't until the weekend), and she picked the Please Touch Museum. So, after we saw Daddy off, we packed everything up and headed to the museum for the day...
She's four!
Then, so Daddy could help the birthday girl celebrate her big day, we headed to Chuck E. Cheese's for some dinner and fun...
It was such a fun (and exhausting!) day...perfect for our fun (and exhausting!) FOUR-YEAR-OLD gal!*
Happy Birthday, Avery Lane! We love you very, VERY much!
* I really can't believe she's four! Seriously?!?! Wasn't she just born?
