...and this girl is very excited about it. Avery has been waiting for YEARS to lose her first tooth...
...and it's finally gone!
She actually lost the tooth on Christmas Eve (and Momma [reluctantly!] pulled it!), but because we weren't sleeping at our home that night (we were in Florida for Christmas), she opted to wait until we returned to Atlanta (and the special pillow she's been waiting [for six years!] to use) to offer the tooth up to The Tooth Fairy.
Life was crazy at the time, so the big night got pushed off a bit, but she finally got everything together for the fairy's visit.
She made a drawing (of The Tooth Fairy visiting her while she is asleep)...
And printed a photograph of herself (minus a very important pearly white!)...
...and neatly tucked them, along with the tooth, into her Tooth Fairy Pillow. She was so excited she could hardly stand it!
She woke up in the morning to find $20...
...and a book...
...and a (super cool!) teeny-tiny letter from The Tooth Fairy!
The letter's envelope had a teeny-tiny wax seal (stamped with a "T")...
...and was filled with teeny-tiny star glitter!
The letter (which was almost too tiny to read with a naked eye) read:
