It's fall, ya'll...let's pick apples!

While we were at Linvilla Orchards for Pumpkinland, we decided to do a little apple picking. Our kids really enjoy picking fruit, so we generally try to do it a few times a year. Usually apple picking requires a hayride to where the ripe fruit is, but, this year, the ready-to-be-picked apples were within walking distance of the fruit-picking station. We grabbed our boxes, asked which apples were best (Fuji, at the time), and headed out.

We picked...

...and picked...

...and picked.

And ate...

...and ate...

...and ate.

And juggled...

...and snuggled...

...and played in the trees.

We left the orchard that day with 25 pounds of apples*, two tired kids, and, most significantly, four happy hearts...

*And thanks to our neighbors, our apple-loving kids, and yummy apple crisps, we didn't end up wasting any of them...amazingly...
