After eating breakfast at the hotel, we headed over to Pop and Mimi's house for the day. The kids ran and played and the adults supervised and chatted. In the afternoon, we got dressed up and headed to an early church service...
After church, we all headed back to the house for (yummy!) dinner (lovingly prepared by Mimi). Dinner was followed by swimming...which was followed by...
...(nearly nude) cookie decorating...
...and (nearly nude) 'Pin the Star on the Christmas Tree'!
After (finally!) wrangling and pajama-ing the (crazy!) kiddos (in their new Christmas pjs!), Pop tried to calm everyone down with the annual reading of "The Night Before Christmas"...
...and it appeared to be working!
Everyone was all cozy and calm and still...
...until...
...Noel decided he needed a closer look at the book...
After we all had a good laugh at Pop and Mr. Noel, we packed up and headed back to the hotel to get ready for bed. On the way inside, we sprinkled some reindeer food around to let Santa know exactly where we are staying. Hopefully he'll find us...we've all been pretty good this year, I think!
