On the day after Christmas, the big bunch of Klicks headed to Mote Aquarium. Our kids had been there a few times before, but they love that aquarium so much that we try to visit during each of our trips to Florida. Our family prefers this aquarium to many others because of their research, rehabilitation, and conservation efforts.
This visit included many children and was just before lunchtime, so it was a pretty quick one...but fun, nonetheless...
Mote had a new hurricane simulator...
...and a new penguin exhibit!
The kiddos tried to pet the stingrays, but they weren't feeling very social that day...
None of the creatures were particularly energetic during our tour...
...unlike our last visit when Avery and Noel were repeated smooched by a manatee...
Perhaps they were all still feeling sad from loosing their friend, Harley...
